One of the questions Christians are often asked is, “What happens to people that never had the opportunity to hear about Jesus? Is it just that they lose their salvation?”
Many would question the “fairness” of eternally condemning someone that was isolated from the good news of the Gospel.
The Apostle Paul is quite clear, however. “ The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth… since what may be known about God is plain to them…For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans 1:18, 20).
We as believers have God’s “written revelation,” the Holy Bible, but it appears from scripture that mankind has also had a “natural revelation” that provided the truth of the Gospel.
